Laura founded the equestrian centre in 2007 after a lifelong passion for horses started at age 8 when she found out her neighbour had horses and asked to help with their care. Laura has a passion for animal welfare and psychology and has trained with eagala, a revolutionary mental health treatment model incorporating horses. Laura also did a 6 month Applied psychology course, which enables coaches to optimise the psychological potential of their athletes. A prolific learner, Laura also completed 18 months with Sarah Huntley thrive performance sports phycology, the reason why I furthered my education was to help my clients perform better by understanding themselves as horses mirror image humans emotions which in turn can affect performance at any level of riding.

Since 2018 my own horse Jack needed further research on bridle and bit fitting which lead me to furthering my horse care to another level again, we went further into understanding horses feet barefoot  , bridle and bit fit, dentistry, body work and then I found my coach Isaac ares and myself and my horse came alive with learning his classical and horse first approach (Issacs Facebook has his methods explained better)  I’ve developed my horse phycology also to improve my own horse Jack, as Jack was doing everything I asked but sept inside I could feel he wasn’t fully happy, which has lead to my knowledge of horse phycology develop again, Jack is a year on now and much more relaxed and happy in himself the results are blooming! With plenty more to go, (need pics of Isaac lesson also). Laura’s education and learning ma on her own horse have been transferred to each and every one of the riding school horses too, our liveries have joined our learnings too and the school horses are also trained in the same way and have had bit fitting etc. We value that to be a successful business the horses must be happy too, our clients do notice this and praise us on our high standards of horse care we promote here.
